Pauli is responsible for fixed income and FX trading globally for NBIM, managing a total team of 14 traders in Singapore, Oslo, London and New York. The trading desk is a part of the Asset Strategy Group, which set out to find the best way to obtain the desired market exposure. His trading team works closely with their portfolio managers to enhance returns on the portfolios. The trading desk also plays a central role when the fund rebalances or relocates its portfolio. As an active market player sourcing liquidity in the secondary market, Pauli is constantly is actively involved in testing the new electronic platforms out there to improve their capabilities. Pauli will be sharing his expertise on what you should be looking for when selecting new fixed income initiatives.
