Alice Beavan

Alice runs the electronic credit trading platforms in New York and London for Lloyds Bank, where she is based in London. Prior to joining Lloyds Alice held the same role at RBC and her background has always been in eTrading having worked previously for both Tradeweb and MarketAxess. As balance sheet becomes increasingly constrained banks are turning to data and technology in order to enhance liquidity provision to their clients. New fintech companies will assist Lloyds in matching buyers and sellers, reducing pressure on balance sheets and enabling Sales to have more targeted conversations with clients. Data is also levelling the playing field amongst banks, providing information on liquidity which wouldn’t previously have been available and helping guide participants towards areas of the market which are most active. Alice will be providing expertise on how the sell side can offer value in increasingly complex fixed income markets.
